Top-selling GTFO launches merch store with stuff that you actually want to wear - and a limited handcrafted GTFO bust

Swedish game developer 10 Chambers – formed by industry veterans known for PAYDAY: The Heist and PAYDAY 2 – has been working on their first title as a studio since 2015; GTFO, an extreme cooperative horror shooter, launched as Early Access in 2019. During The Game Awards last week, they surprised-launch Version 1.0 of the game – placed #2 as Steams best selling list globally, and increased their concurrent players by 2000%. Today, they are launching the GTFO merchandise store differently from your usual gaming merchandise.

Since GTFO was released as Early Access in 2019, it has had a loyal following of hardcore gamers – boosting one of the world's most active Discord servers with over 200 000 members. But until now, they haven't had the chance to show off their love of GTFO while not playing the game. This changes with the launch of the official GTFO store today, and they're trying to do it differently from the traditional gaming merchandise.

"When we decided we would do GTFO merch, we also decided not to do the traditional gaming logo printed on a basic t-shirt," says Ulf Andersson, Creative Director at 10 Chambers. "Firstly, we wanted to create something that we – and hopefully more people – actually want to wear and won't just bury at the back of your closet after the first wear. Secondly, we have many creative people, many interested in streetwear and fashion, at the office. We wanted to unleash that creativity in our GTFO merchandise, taking the game brand to fashion rather than the other way around."

Alongside a wide range of different hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, bags, caps, and hats in streetwear style, you can find more collectible and unique items. Among them are, for example, a workwear-vest and a hardhat wearing the logo from one of the mining companies – Santonian Industries – operating in the GTFO game. Another one is a handmade bust of one of the GTFO in-game gasmasks, made by a blend of epoxy resin and iron powder that will give it a natural patina by oxidation. With it comes a foot made from stone with a copperplate GTFO logo.

"With the Casted GTFO Collectible Mask figure, we wanted to create that genuinely collectible piece, handmade by our friends at Arclight Company here in Stockholm, Sweden. This mask will be limited to 100 only and will live its life on your shelf – the way it is made, it will age with time and get a stunning patina look," says Ulf Andersson. "We hope that our community will like the products we offer and see that we really gave this time and thought before opening."
