MONTREAL - October 8, 2026 - Norsfell, the creators of Tribes of Midgard, officially unveiled their upcoming title, Aftergods, a brand-new top-down survivalite Action-RPG, during the Triple-i Initiative showcase. Aftergods serves as both the next evolution and a brand-new title building on the success and core pillars of Norsfell’s 5-million-unit hit: top-down action combat, survival crafting, mythic boss battles, and co-op. Aftergods expands beyond Norse lore into a rich tapestry of interconnected world mythologies.
In Aftergods, players wield the divine power of the Godborn – the unsung children of the gods who unexpectedly survived Ragnarök and whose legends have yet to be written. Rising from the aftermath across a handcrafted open world, players must restore the shattered Seeds of the World Tree and rebalance a collapsed cosmos.
Whether playing solo or in co-op, players wield the divine power of the Godborn from Greek, Egyptian, Norse, or yet-undiscovered pantheons, choosing from various lineages and classes to carve out their own deity.
Key Features:
- God and Mortal Forms: Divinity relies on a scarce resource known as Nectar. Rationing Nectar is key to survival—run out at the wrong moment and your Godborn reverts to a vulnerable mortal form, turning trivial threats into high-stakes fights for survival.
- A True "Survivalite" Experience: Experience divine-scale survival mechanics. Harvest entire forests with lightning storms, conjure pre-built temples straight from the heavens, and indulge in mortal food as an optional buff. It's all about meaningful challenges, not punishing friction.
- Build Your Pantheon: Rescue survivors ranging from mortals to fallen ancient gods to form a new pantheon. Followers utilize unique specialties to automate base building, crafting, harvesting, and resource storage as you cultivate their faith and build majestic monuments.
- Shapeshifting Across the Realms: Explore a ravaged world spanning Greek, Egyptian, and Norse landmasses. Morph directly into mythical beasts like phoenixes, manticores, or sirens to climb mountains, swim across oceans, and glide through the skies.

The game's reveal trailer features an original animated sequence produced by Powerhouse Animation Studios (Blood of Zeus, Castlevania), set to a live score recorded by the 60-piece Budapest Scoring Orchestra.
