Pilsen, Czech Republic – November 6, 2026 – Montabi is getting a physical edition! Czech indie publisher Nejcraft is teaming up with developer Mankibo and digital publisher Akupara Games to bring the game to Nintendo Switch™ 2 on a physical cartridge.
Montabi is a creature-collecting roguelike deckbuilder where players assemble a team of Montabi, train and evolve them, and use their unique cards and abilities in tactical turn-based battles.

About Montabi
Tame, collect, fight! Build your team of Montabi in this creature-collecting roguelike deckbuilder. Each Montabi has its own abilities and cards, so finding the right combination is key. Train and evolve your creatures, build your deck, and take on the X Gang in tactical turn-based battles to save the city!
Key Features
- Build Your Deck by Taming – To save the city, you'll need some Montabi on your side! Each has its own skills and cards, which you can combine with equipment and charms to build your team.
- Evolve and Learn New Skills – Train your Montabi to unlock new moves and evolve them into stronger forms, gaining new cards along the way.
- Outsmart Your Opponents – Battles take place on a 3×3 grid, where positioning and card choices both matter. Don't forget to stop by a café to recover some HP!
- Choose Your Trainer – Pick a trainer based on how you want to play, whether that's close-range combat, positioning, or supporting your Montabi. If your trainer gets knocked out, the run is over.
- Try Every Montabi – Choose from 22 starters, each with its own evolutionary line and deck, and over 500 cards to discover.
