Indie Game Award 2024 is now open for registration, with the addition of a new category, "Best Student Game," offering winners the opportunity to exhibit at Taipei Game Show.

Taipei Game Show (TGS), the organizer of the Indie Game Award, emphasized the vital role of continuous creativity and the contributions of young developers in driving the gaming industry forward. TGS has been committed to providing a platform for indie game developers to shine, and since its inception in 2015, the Indie Game Award has successfully catapulted many award-winning works onto the international stage. This has not only increased visibility for developers but also led to outstanding post-release performance.
 
The Indie Game Award 2024 features a total of nine prestigious awards, including "Best Narrative," " Best Audio," " Best Visual Art," "Best Design," "Best Innovation," "Best VR Game," "Best Mobile Game," " Grand Prix," and the newly introduced category, "Best Student Game." Winners in each category will have the opportunity to showcase their games at the TGS 2024.
