This time we would like to present our production El Dorado: The Golden City Builder. At the end of this year, we announced our first strategy game, set in the mysterious land of pre-Columbian Latin America, but about the game world, we will say a few words later.

The idea to create El Dorado: The Golden City Builder was born at a time when we were wondering what types of games are missing on the market. We didn't want to use the mainstream scheme, we decided to go beyond what is already known and popular and create a game that would fill the gap in the video game industry. This is how the idea of creating a strategy game set in the pre-Columbian reality and focusing on this period, culture and traditions.

If we take a closer look at the video game industry, we can see that there are few productions on the market that mainly focus on this period. Sure, there are tons of games that we can spot this period, but they are usually some episodic game sequences, or even the period is simplified to a small cutscenes. That is why the entire Gameparic team decided to focus on this period and bring the player closer to this extremely fascinating period full of dark secrets.

The production was warmly welcomed by the gaming community after the premiere announcement and the group of interested users is still growing. The end of 2020 is around the corner, but the upcoming 2021 for El Dorado: The Golden City Builder will be extremely important. The publishing plan assumes that in 2021, players will be able to play the prologue and in 2022 the full version of the game will be released.

The world the player will see is set in the mysterious land of pre-Columbian Latin America. In the game we will play the role of the builder of the Golden City. Our main goal is to build a huge, prosperous city. The player will start his adventure from a small village that has the potential to become something more than an average city, and may become a huge metropolis that no mortal has ever seen.

The world featured in El Dorado: The Golden City Builder is an extremely colorful and varied place. The areas of pre-Columbian Latin America will be waiting for the player to discover them. However, to achieve the main goal, you will need the approval of the gods, satisfaction among the inhabitants, and good trade relations with other settlements and tribes. It is the approval of the gods that will be the key to creating your El Dorado, their favor will allow us to avoid their destructive force.

The player will face many challenges that await him during the development of his city. El Dorado has always been associated with enormous wealth, splendor and everything that is the best.

The main aspect of satisfying gods, it will be key to the development of our city, so as not to reveal all the details of this mechanics, we will only talk about some systems of satisfying gods that are satisfied in several ways, including: human and animal sacrifices, service, prayer of our society, declaring wars to the delight of the gods and other methods.

The game features classic mechanisms known from this genre of those games, such as extraction of resources, expansion of buildings, expanding the army, acquiring skills, developing society and many others. The game will also feature fighting elements against our enemies. The game will allow you to train defensive and offensive units in order to defend our village and conquer neighboring territory. It will be up to us whether we want to settle in the conquered lands or just plunder them.

The game will allow the user to spend long hours developing the Golden City. The player will be able to become part of a world full of gold, but at the same time full of brutality, violence and the struggle to survive. All this will result in your civilization thriving for centuries! Many have wanted to taste the riches of El Dorado, but they have all forgotten one thing, those who really rule this world. Their anger will make every river run with the blood of your people, the wine will lose its flavor, the soil will fawn, and before your city falls, the gods will make you watch the fall of what you have been building for so long.
