HIDE, PRINT AND DON’T SCREAM IN CO-OP HORROR GAME EXPENDABOTS, DEMO OUT NOW

Sneak, scavenge loot and 3D-Print your way out of trouble as expendable robots with up to three friends.

Bratislava, Slovakia - October 9, 2026 - Publisher Blue Brain Games and developer Collision Games today released the Expendabots Demo on Steam for PC and Mac. Expendabots is a 1-4 player co-op extraction game in which goofy, expendable robots explore procedurally generated islands and dungeons, scavenge loot, and extract with their squad before the island is lost.

Outmatched and vulnerable, players must stay quiet, because enemies can hear proximity voice chat. The demo features the Biolab dungeon, a tutorial covering controls, crafting, and extraction, and progression up to level 5.

In Expendabots, you and your friends are expendable robots sent to recover valuable tech from ever-changing islands of the Custody Zone and the abandoned dungeons beneath them. Every dungeon is built around tension. Enemies react to sight, sound or both, so players need to sneak through the dark, kill their lights, hide when something gets too close, and run when the plan falls apart.

If a teammate falls during the expedition, the Expendabot’s mechanical heart can find its own way back to a newly printed body, teammates can also recover these and keep the squad together.

Every Expendabot carries a portable 3D printer for field fabrication. Players scavenge filament and use it to print and craft gear, emergency power cells, decoys to lure enemies away, and an odd selection of items to turn a bad situation into a memorable one.
