BloodRush: Undying Wish launches with new trailer, roadmap, and discount

Brazilian game mixes fast-paced action with gothic style, offering deep content and a promising roadmap

The highly anticipated Brazilian game BloodRush: Undying Wish, developed by Lightmancer Studios and published by Nuntius Games, has just launched in Early Access on Steam with a 10% limited-time discount. To celebrate, a new launch trailer has been released, showcasing the game’s dark and stylized universe.

BloodRush comes with a bold proposition: a roguelike pixel-art hack’n slash that combines impactful combat with creative build crafting and tactical freedom. The game encourages expression through combat, giving players the tools to improvise, dance between enemy attacks, and discover synergies between weapons, talents, and sins.

A robust Early Access launch

Even in Early Access, BloodRush: Undying Wish already includes a solid amount of content:

  • 4 unique weapons
  • 10 different combos
  • 30+ talents (powerful traits to personalize your gameplay style)
  • 7 playable sins (gameplay archetypes with strengths and weaknesses)
  • 21 enemies
  • 2 bosses
  • 6 distinct arenas

Highlights include the newly added “Witch Woods” area, featuring the charismatic Witch, new enemies like the Vengeful Doll and Soulmate, and two new weapons: the Gnostic Scepter and the Tempest Blunderbuss.

New features and systems

BloodRush also introduces new mechanics like the Boons System, which grants passive buffs by collecting souls, and the Ardor System, which rewards stylish gameplay. The Execution mechanic allows players to recover health by eliminating enemies with precision, and the Arena Hub lets players choose the order of their challenges.

Official roadmap reveals four major upcoming updates

Lightmancer Studios has revealed its official roadmap (see image attached), with four major updates planned:

  • The Constellation Update (September 2025): new constellation system, star weapon, new talents
  • The Neverending Update (December 2025): new boss, Blood Cannon weapon, new arena, and a new story act
  • The Inferno Update (Fall 2026): new enemies, challenges, and talents
  • The Final Update (Winter 2026): final content update with new boss, weapon, arena, talents, and story developments

“My main goal now is to keep the momentum going. There’s still a lot of content planned—new weapons, bosses, and more—but I also want to hear from the community, learn what to improve, and find out what people want most so we can better prioritize.”
— Danilo Isamu, Game Designer

Team reaction to launch

Luis Felipe, UI Designer on the project, shared his thoughts on the release:

“Honestly, it’s surreal to see the game out in the world after so much effort. I’ve followed the project from the very beginning, and watching it all come to life is incredible. The whole team is feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. We hope everyone has a great time with it!”

In BloodRush, Death has vanished and because of that, no one can die permanently. Chaos reigns, but you might just be the one to fix it.

BloodRush: Undying Wish is available now in Early Access on Steam with 10% off for a limited time. Console versions will follow soon, with dates to be announced.
