The Blackinton Curse is a new stand-alone mystery and recently claimed the prize for “Excellence in Narrative” from Boston Festival of Indie Games. As a detective and dog tag team, you’ll explore a small town in The Berkshires, search for clues, question suspects, and ultimately unmask the killer.
Following the death of a family matriarch, the surviving heirs return from abroad to their childhood home in The Berkshires. But in addition to the family’s Victorian mansion, sprawling acreage, and millions of dollars, they’ve also inherited something much more sinister. A spooky masked figure appears and warns the siblings that they will be the next victims of a grizzly family curse dating back to the Gilded Age. After another fatality on the property, the prophecy is seemingly proven true. Can you help Cleo and Detective Guy crack the mystery of multiple murders and a 150-year-old legend?
