Göteborg, Sweden – October 28, 2026 | From the original developers of the original Icy Tower comes a complete remake of the same name, launching on PC and Mac (via Steam) on November 10.
Icy Tower is a fast-paced vertical platformer where you try to climb as high as possible in an endless tower. With over 40 million players since its initial launch back in 2001, the original team is excited to bring a completely new version to Steam.
Chain impossible combo jumps, bounce off walls, and risk everything for new high scores. But one mistake and it is back to the bottom. Designed with a simple pickup-and-play approach, Icy Tower aims to provide that "one more try" arcade gameplay from yesteryear.
As the difficulty ramps up, Icy Tower will push your timing, precision, and nerves to the limit. Jump through the many colorful biomes of the tower, ranging from ancient temples to libraries and roaring volcanoes!

Johan Peitz is a prolific game creator known for innovative design, tight controls, and a strong focus on player experience across many genres. Over a 25-year career spanning indie, social, and AAA games, he has shipped more than 100 titles.
Anders Svensson is a musician and software developer with extensive experience in film, animation, and motion graphics. After working with top international clients, he’s returning to the games industry.
Together, Johan and Anders collaborated on games in the early 2000s and are now back with a highly anticipated new Icy Tower game.
