Part of the London Games Festival 2023, W.A.S.D promises a place to play games, chat to developers and meet fan-favourite content creators from YouTube and Twitch - who all share a love of gaming.
W.A.S.D. takes place at The Truman Brewery on Brick Lane between Thursday 30th March and Saturday 1st April.
This year, W.A.S.D will feature some of the biggest names in the video games business, from new generation platforms like Sony’s recently released PlayStation VR2 to some of the world’s top publishers like Devolver Digital, Bandi Namco and PLAION.
W.A.S.D will also feature highly-anticipated, pre-release AAA games such as Capcom’s newest challenger Street Fighter 6 and Dead Island 2. In fact, it’s the first ever chance for fans to get hands-on with Dead Island 2 in Europe!
In addition, the first year of London Developer Conference sees a high profile line-up of great speakers and panellists, sponsored by Microsoft Azure. - Dead Island 2 - Be the first in Europe to slay in the gore-drenched zombie-infected HELL-A (a hellish vision of LA) slicing, hacking and smashing its way to consoles and PC on April 21.
- System Shock - Delve into the fully fledged remake of the groundbreaking 1994 original launching later this year.
- Undisputed - Punch it out in the most authentic boxing game to date. Featuring true to life visuals, bone-jarring action, and more licensed boxers than ever before. Currently in Steam Early Access, Undisputed intends to live up to its name and become the king of boxing games.
- Scars Above - Try out the challenging sci-fi third-person shooter set in a mysterious alien world. Already launched 28th February, it’s a compelling and intricate story to sink your teeth into.

LONDON DEVELOPER CONFERENCE
The London Developer Conference, taking place at W.A.S.D, brings together the huge game development community in London. The conference is part of the collection of events that will be part of the London Games Festival.
The conference offers the chance to take part in live sessions and panels with games industry pioneers, offering the benefit of their experience to help educate and inform across all things game development! Some highlights are:
- Games industry recruitment in London - Join Colin Macdonald, Director of Games Jobs Live, as he presents a special report on the recruitment landscape in London’s games industry
- Playable Futures with Sam Barratt - Sam Barratt, the UN Environment's Chief of Education, Youth & Advocacy, will discuss the role that the games industry can play in helping the environment
- PUBLISHER BRAWL!! The state of video game publishing in 2023 - Join Mike Rose (No More Robots), Caoimhe Roddy (Chucklefish) and Susie McBeth (Raw Fury) as they debate the hottest topics surrounding video game publishing right now.
