Telazer Games, which has made a name for itself with its web games, is now preparing to face Steam players with Desktop Heroes, their new game developed for PC and Mac platforms. The game is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2025.
A Success Story from Web Games to Steam
Founded in 2024, Telazer Games has managed to reach more than 1 million players with web-based games such as Rough Ball, War of Mine and Crazy Color. These browser-based games quickly became popular on social media and independent platforms.
Today, the team is preparing to crown this success with a more unique experience for PC and Mac users.
Desktop Heroes: Heroes Fighting While You Work
Desktop Heroes is a fantasy idle action game designed in a pixel art style that users can play in the background while quietly working on their desktop. The game runs as a small window at the bottom of your screen and continues to progress without interrupting the player's daily activities such as work, meetings or classes. In fact, with the unique features developed for the game, the game doesn't even interfere with you while running under the screen. However, even if you share your entire screen in meetings, the other person may not be able to see you playing the game.
Players start out as the Fighter character. Over time, different classes such as Rogue, Wizard and Archer are unlocked. As characters make their way across the bottom of your screen, they automatically destroy incoming creatures and collect gold and upgrade materials. These resources can be used to upgrade weapons and armor, craft HP potions, and further strengthen the character. As you progress through the game, a helper comes into play to assist the character. This helper keeps the character alive even when the player is not focused on the game.
Small Team, Big Dreams
Telazer Games consists of a team of only 3 people. The company was founded by experienced software developers Yigit Ege Miman and Baris Tuna Botgul. In 2025, Kayra Keri Kupcu, who has been involved in many different roles in the game industry for many years, joined the project as a Game Designer.
Simultaneously, the team started working on 3 more games to be released after Desktop Heroes. In 2025, they plan to announce a new game in the casual genre, while the development stages are also continuing. Other games will be released at short intervals.
New Content on the Way
The base version of Desktop Heroes will be available for a one-time price of $3.99 USD. Post-launch updates and DLC packs will include new character classes, different environments and new enemy types.
In addition, the team will continue to develop and update the game while providing players with delightful content full of surprises.
