Soda Drinker Pro Announces New Pricing Structure - Retroactive CPS (Cost Per Sip)

Soda Drinker Pro will implement indispensable changes to its monetization model. As the industry standards evolve, so do we. Consequently, we are transitioning to a Soda as a Service (SAAS) framework, strictly adhering to the principles of Sipple-Down Sodanomics.
 

Historically, Soda Drinker Pro functioned on a one-time purchase model. However, after an exhaustive analysis of our revenue streams and the game's mechanics, which merely simulate the act of sipping a digital beverage, we have determined that a per-sip fee optimally aligns with our business objectives. Each sip activates a specific segment of our proprietary code, thereby justifying the incremental charge.
 

Retroactive Sip Qualification and Revised Thresholds
 

This change is retroactive. Players who have taken more than 20,000 sips during their tenure with Soda Drinker Pro will incur a 22 cent fee for every subsequent sip.
 

The metrics for this billing model are:

  • Surpassing a certain sip threshold within the last 12 months.
  • Achieving a designated lifetime sip count.
 

Specifically:

  • Basic Sipper Tier: Players who have accumulated 200,000 sips or more in the past year AND have a total of 1,000,000 lifetime sips.
  • Pro Sipper Tier: Individuals who have consumed 1,000,000 sips or more within the last year AND boast a total of 5,000,000 lifetime sips.

Sip Discounts
 

Upon reaching the Pro Sipper Tier status, players may qualify for nominal volume-based sip discounts.
 

Monetization Features
 
  • Soda AI: The AI will now predict your soda preference based on past consumption. This feature does not enhance gameplay.
  • UGC (User Generated Content): Players can craft soda labels. These designs do not impact gameplay.
  • Soda Skins: For an additional fee, players can select different soda appearances.
  • Soda Loot Boxes: Randomized boxes containing various in-game items. Their contents, while uncertain, will be available for purchase.
  • Ad-Integrated Soda Biometrics Scale: As players sip, they will be served ads based on their in-game biometric responses.
  • Deeper Player Analytics: Player data, including play patterns and preferences, will be collected and subsequently sold to third-party advertisers.
 

In closing, these changes are firm. Our commitment to Soda Drinker Pro's fiscal robustness is paramount. Feedback, while recorded, is unlikely to dictate future decisions.
