RocketWerkz Debuts ICARUS Livestreams Today

Creator Dean Hall and team members to stream live gameplay regularly on Twitch at surviveicarus

April 8, 2021 -- Join the RocketWerkz team for the premiere of ICARUS gameplay live on Twitch channel surviveicarus beginning at 5pm PST / 8pm EDT today, Thursday April 8th 2021. Creator and RocketWerkz CEO Dean Hall will be joined by Community Manager Lorii Gugich and Executive Producer Brian Hicks to play through an initial ICARUS drop.

“We know that players really want to see the game in action next,” says CEO Dean Hall. “So rather than another gameplay-oriented trailer, we plan to start regular developer streams on Twitch and just start playing it with our community.”

About ICARUS
ICARUS is a session-based PvE survival game for up to eight co-op players or solo. Explore a savage alien wilderness in the aftermath of terraforming gone wrong. Survive long enough to mine exotic matter, then return to orbit to craft more advanced tech. Meet your deadline or be left behind forever.

About RocketWerkz
After the global success of influential survival game DayZ, Dean Hall returned to his native New Zealand. RocketWerkz opened its first studio in Dunedin, a university city in the south of New Zealand, in early 2015.
In September 2019 RocketWerkz opened a studio on the waterfront in Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, to focus on next-gen AAA survival game Icarus. By March 2021 over 65 people were working on Icarus across both studios.
