Townscaper coming to mobile, the release of Kathy Rain: Director’s Cut, new Per Aspera content, and other Raw Fury news
STOCKHOLM — Oct. 14, 2021 — There are only a few weeks left in October but Raw Fury has really packed a lot of stuff into that time. From updates to releases, here is the breakdown of all the fun stuff you won’t want to miss!
Townscaper is coming to mobile (iOS and Android) October 20! Having released on PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch back in August, this peaceful toy-like town builder has already seen over 600K units sold. The inclusion to mobile is especially exciting as Townscaper is the kind of game that is meant to be played on the go, taking inspiration from your surroundings.
On October 21, Per Aspera will be getting another free update. Dubbed the “Green Mars” DLC, this new content will focus on significant changes to gameplay with the addition of vegetation and new animal life to the red planet. Along with a new lens view to help manage the precious resource of water, there will be 11 new biomes to master as each will require specific conditions for the flora and fauna to thrive. Kathy Rain: Director’s Cut gets a launch date of October 26. The remastered version of the 2016 point & click detective mystery recently got an official launch date and it’s not far off. Fans of the original Kathy Rain will find the Director’s Cut has new places to explore, an extended storyline, over 700+ lines of new dialogue, updated performance, and more! The game is currently available on Steam to wishlist for PC, Mac, and Linux but will also be available on GOG, Android, iOS at launch with a Nintendo Switch version coming a few days later.

Star Renegades to get Japanese localization, some updates, and an upcoming DLC. Very soon, fans of Star Renegades will be able to enjoy the game in Japanese on PC. This update will also include some additional fixes as well as two new end-boss fights: the Dragoon and Guardian. On top of this, a new DLC is currently planned for Nov 24. This free DLC will let players bring the fight directly to the home of the Imperium. But that’s not all! Along with this new ending, a new playable character will also be joining the fight.
Raw Fury have announced a first-look arrangement for film and television. Raw Fury and Hollywood-based production company dj2 Entertainment have announced a first-look arrangement that will give dj2 Entertainment first opportunity to adapt Raw Fury’s games for film and television.
Raw Fury’s diverse library of games such as BAFTA nominee Call of the Sea, Apple TV Game of the Year, Dandara, IndieCade nominee, The Signifier, and ‘Tribeca 2021 Game Award’ winner Norco and more will all fall under the Raw Fury X dj2 first look partnership.
Steam Halloween Sale! It’s that candy-filled time of year again and the treats that Raw Fury is giving out are sweet, sweet deals! Steam deals to be specific. Most of the Raw Fury catalogue will be on sale from October 31 to November 1 on Steam.
