September 16, 2026 – LINE Games successfully concluded the first playtest for QUIET, its upcoming 1–4 player co-op horror game, drawing more than 350K sign-ups and welcoming over 270K players from 148 countries throughout the testing period.
Throughout the playtest, thousands of ducks flocked together to put QUIET’s blend of co-op horror, stealth, and chaotic teamwork to the test. The team gathered valuable player feedback and gameplay data throughout the testing period, which will help inform the next phase of development as LINE Games continues refining the experience.
By the Numbers:
- 350,403 players signed up for the playtest.
- 271,132 players downloaded and took part in the playtest together.
- Players from 148 countries around the world participated.
- 800+ Twitch streams went live during the playtest.
- 420+ videos were produced.
- Over 820 thoughtful player survey responses were collected.
In QUIET, up to four players become a team of alien ducks stranded far from home. To escape, they’ll need to explore a paranormal mansion, search for ship repair parts, and work together to survive whatever is lurking inside. Stay quiet, stay together, and whatever you do… don’t quack under pressure.
About QUIET:
- Search for Ship Parts: Explore the house, recover the components needed to repair your ship, and escape before you're discovered.
- Every Sound Matters: Movement, dropped objects, and even your real-world voice can alert the homeowner. A microphone is required.
- Work Together or Go Down Together: Coordinate with up to three other players, but remember that one noisy mistake can put the entire flock in danger.
- A Horror Co-op Unlike Any Other: Balance stealth, teamwork, and chaotic duck antics as you struggle to survive against an ever-listening threat.
