Described as The Binding of Isaac meets Spore, Pathogenic puts players in control of a single parasite waging war against the human immune system. Players hunt enemy cells, absorb their organelles, and graft them onto their own body to evolve new abilities and forms. Every run offers new combinations and strategies as players adapt to survive an ever-escalating internal ecosystem.
The game features soft-body physics for a tactile, organic feel, alongside a roster of enemies inspired by real microbiology. From macrophages and T cells to rival parasites and large-scale organ bosses. Players will explore the body’s inner biomes, including the lungs, heart, and brain, each with its own enemies and hazards.
