Levelhead celebrates 75,000 player-made levels with free Mega Update

 

St. Louis, MO — August 5th, 2020 — Levelhead, the award-winning platformer maker from Butterscotch Shenanigans, launches its free Mega Update, The Void, on the Epic Games Store, Xbox, Xbox Game Pass, the Windows Store, Nintendo Switch, Steam, the App Store, and the Google Play Store, including Google Play Pass.

 

This huge update to the critically acclaimed maker game arrives alongside the celebration of the 75,000th player-made level, and includes tons of new items for creators to play with, including:

  • The Shade - players can channel demonic power to teleport while preserving momentum

  • The Input Switch - players can trigger contraptions using player inputs like jump and grab, giving a whole new level of control

  • Double the enemies - the Canoodle, Jibber/Jabber, and Peanut bring new approaches to combat

  • More aesthetic choices - players can decorate to their heart’s content with item recolors and new path decor

  • And dozens more updates and changes, including new music tracks from Fatbard

 

Levelhead’s editor lets players use programmable switches, secrets, and hundreds of items to create complex levels, from standard platformers to pinball machines. Player-made Levels are published to the world, where they’re accessible regardless of language or platform. Butterscotch’s “Crossplatforminess” allows players to seamlessly move their works-in-progress to the cloud and continue editing them on any platform.

 

Levelhead and is available now on Xbox, Switch, the Epic Games Store, and Steam for $19.99, and on the App Store and Google Play for $6.99. The game is also available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass and Google Play Pass. The game supports English, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Russian, German, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Spanish (LATAM), Spanish (Spain), Italian, Japanese, and Korean.
