SWEDEN, 30 October 2026 - Basemint Studios today opened the free Steam Playtest for Let's Duck!, a top-down co-op roguelike about rubber ducks defending their pond. Players can join the Playtest from the Steam page now and play the first three maps and their bosses, solo or with up to three friends online.
In Let's Duck!, your outfit is your build. Every hat, jacket and accessory is a skill: the pirate hat lobs cannonballs, the shower cap sprays a jet, the cozy scarf whirls feathers around you. Skills cast on their own while you swim, dash and quack to shove the swarm back. Enemies drop breadcrumbs, and every level deals a hand of cards, or a spin of the casino reels that bets the whole hand on three of a kind.
"I wanted a survivors-like you can play with friends on a Friday night, where dressing up your duck is the whole strategy," says Filip, the game's solo developer. "The Playtest is the first three maps. I'd love to hear what people build."

- 67 clothing pieces in three slots. Each one is a skill, and bosses drop rare ones of their own.
- 10 maps on an adventure sea chart, each with its own enemies and its own boss, from The Old Pike in Mallard Marsh to Queen Coil in Jungle River. Every boss has an ULTRA FURIOUS! last phase.
- Level-up cards with rerolls, or bet the hand on the casino reels.
- Missions mid-run, a pond to decorate, 41 trophies.
- 12 interface languages, a colourblind mode, full controller support.
- All music is original: streamers and video creators can monetize freely.

- Full release: 2027 on Steam for Windows PC. Price not announced yet.
