Intrepid Izzy, a beat 'em up, adventurous platformer, succeeded in reaching its Kickstarter goal of $35,000€ and is now for release in late 2018, slated for Windows (Steam), SEGA Dreamcast, and PlayStation 4.
The development studio, Senile Team, achieved instant fame back in 2003 with their surprise hit "Beats of Rage", sparked the revival of the scrolling beat 'em up genre with over 100 community-developed mods. Their first commercial success was followed by "Rush Rush Rally Racing", released for Dreamcast and WiiWare in 2009 and 2012. With their continuing love of metroidvania and the 16-bit era, Senile Team’s goal is to create new and original games inspired by the classics.
