Prague, Czech Republic – April 17, 2025 – Fulqrum Publishing has wrapped up yet another edition of Lovecraftian Days, its annual event that celebrates the influences of the classic works of H.P. Lovecraft, and the cosmic horror genre in gaming.

Running from April 14-21, this year’s iteration of Lovecratian Days celebrates the launch of both Stygian: Outer Gods and Viscerafest - but horror fans are being treated to a whole host of new announcements, game demos and discounts - and here’s just some of the highlights revealed this year, including the long-anticipated announcement that Forgive Me Father 2 is finally coming to consoles, and a brief teaser for an upcoming gameplay reveal for Decadent

Fulqrum Publishing and developer Byte Barrel are delighted to announce that their beloved Lovecraftian shooter Forgive Me Father 2 will be arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025!

Originally launched exclusively for PC, Forgive Me Father 2 is a critically-acclaimed shooter that draws inspiration from various FPS subgenres, including classic boomer shooters like Quake and Doom. Combined with modern mechanics, unique visual style, and Unreal Engine 5 technology, Forgive Me Father 2 offers an action-packed retro-meets-cutting-edge love letter to all FPS fans.

Forgive Me Father 2 is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025.

About Forgive Me Father 2

  • Distinctive dark comic-like visuals: Dark hand-drawn graphic design where every frame looks like a page from a comic book is one of the pillars of Forgive Me Father, and the sequel brings a fresh perspective to its unique style with improved sprites, models and atmospheric lighting effects. Prepare to feast your eyes on juicy blood effects and animated gibs flying everywhere!

  • Dive into the madness: Defeat Lovecraftian nightmares with a wide range of weapons. Fight hosts of diverse, formidable enemies and beware: each and every one of them evolves into different, ever more evil and twisted forms of themselves - this journey does not get any easier!

  • Gear up and fight: Define your own playstyle and assemble the deadliest arsenal with plenty of weapons to choose from, each with even more powerful variations designed to cause absolute mayhem and bring utter destruction upon your foes. Take your pick from devastating shotguns, lethally accurate rifles, explosive launchers, and unleash their full potential.

  • Gain mad skills: Overwhelming madness is your best friend and worst enemy at the same time. Let it flow through you, unleash absolute mayhem on your foes and gain extraordinary powers as a reward. Embrace the insanity, use it to fuel your bizarre new abilities, and teach the horrors assaulting your senses to fear YOU!

  • Otherworldly soundtrack: Experience the surprisingly fitting combination of strong electric guitar riffs and energetic drums underscoring the dark Lovecraftian atmosphere. Slay hordes of deranged cultists and confront unimaginable ancient evil while listening to the original soundtrack that will make you headbang for hours on end.

But that’s not all! This year’s Lovecraftian Days also offered a sneak-glimpse at Decadent, an upcoming story-driven FPS from Fulqrum Publishing and Incantation Games.

Decadent is a story-driven first-person shooter that combines atmospheric exploration, Lovecraftian horror and expansive gameplay mechanics into an immersive experience - making the player feel a unique sense of loneliness in a dangerous land where time stands still.

You are John Lorn, a royal explorer and a veteran of the Great War, turned decadent occultist. As a result of a traumatic experience during one of your occult experiments, you become a host for a mysterious parasite. Travelling to the Arctic one last time, you follow the traces of a lost Miskatonic University expedition. As your courage and sanity are pushed to the limit, you must learn to walk the line between good and evil and discover just how much grief and suffering you are ready to cause to save someone you hold dear.

This gameplay teaser offers just a quick look at the horrors that await you in Decadent - but keep your eyes peeled on May 6, when we will be revealing the full gameplay trailer!

Decadent is still early in development, and we’ll be able to share more information on the upcoming Lovecraftian FPS further down the line. In the meantime, Decadent is available to wishlist on Steam, where you can follow along with development updates. The game is set to launch in 2025 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GoG and other digital stores), Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

There’s still time to take advantage of the discounts available across a legion of titles as part of Lovecraftian Days 2025 - and we hope to see you again next year!
