SQOOL Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenji Kato), which operates game media and provides game marketing support, today, September 1, 2026, opened the Steam store page for "Sill Dogs," a desktop pet app developed in-house. "Sill Dogs" is scheduled to launch on September 23, 2026.
"Sill Dogs" is a pet app in which small dogs live on the user's desktop screen. Just like the cats in its sister app "Sill Cats," the dogs walk along the tops of your open windows, jump from window to window to move around your workspace, and curl up in a corner of the screen to sleep — though a dog may listen to its owner a little better than a cat does.
"Sill Dogs" faithfully reproduces the gestures and behavior of real dogs, and some of them will even take care not to get in the way ofyour work. There are a few mischievous ones as well, but they are still easier to handle than cats. Probably.
"Sill Dogs" is free to play, and the base pack lets you welcome 2 breeds. Paid DLC that adds more breeds is planned, with each DLC priced at USD 1.99.
"Sill Dogs" supports all 31 languages available on Steam, including Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian.

- Comment from Representative Director Kenji Kato "Sill Cats, the sister app we released earlier, has been downloaded by a great many users, for which we are grateful. We are glad that people have taken to the capriciousness of cats, but some users prefer the loyalty a dog shows its owner, and it is for them that we have prepared a dog version. We hope you enjoy watching a dog wait for you inside your desktop."
