In Detective VR, players investigate a mystery by interviewing suspects, examining clues, and using a unique time-control mechanic to rewind, pause, and replay key moments in order to uncover hidden truths. Inspired by narrative experiences such as Return of the Obra Dinn, Immortality, and Minority Report, the game blends detective work with immersive VR storytelling.
Players will encounter six distinct characters across eleven interactive sequences, piecing together conflicting testimonies and confronting suspects to discover what really happened.
