[Astana, Kazakhstan - June 18th, 2025] - Independent developer BlackMark Studio has released Patch 1.5, the largest and most technically complex update for Caribbean Legend to date. Alongside this free update, players can expand their fleet with the brand-new Ships Pack: Chapter 3 DLC.
Patch 1.5 highlights:

Enhanced naval battles and global map dynamics: Fleets and powerful nations now respond directly to the player’s growing strength. Expect bounty hunters and tougher encounters on the high seas.

New naval gunfire system: Players gain more control over cannon fire, with the ability to target lower decks, masts, and fortifications — making battles more tactical and visually striking.

7 new side quests: Bringing ports and free towns to life with new stories and activities.

Improved AI and combat balance: Refined skills system, rebalanced melee combat, smarter enemies, and a smoother user interface.

Additional content: The return of slave traders, revamped fort sieges, new sound and visual effects, new achievements, and full Italian localization.
Players are advised to start a new game to experience all changes properly. The development team continues to improve Caribbean Legend based on community feedback and invites everyone to test the update and share their thoughts.
New DLC:
Released simultaneously with the patch, Ships Pack: Chapter 3 adds another legendary vessel — the brig Memento — plus a unique global event and four new achievements. This is part of an ongoing DLC series expanding the game’s fleet with historically inspired ships.

Patch 1.5 is free for all players and available now on Steam. The Ships Pack: Chapter 3 DLC can be purchased separately.
