Transmission: Shortwave is a casual driving simulator set in a retro-futuristic 1990s Britain. It's a reflection of Cardboard Sword's tongue-in-cheek humour and nostalgia, with tunes that bring back fond memories of a simpler time, and the freedom to roam wherever and however they wanted. With wit and wonder, they've created a unique parcel delivery game that players can enjoy as quickly or slowly as they like. This game is a hybrid of driving and beat-syncing music in a simply-wrapped package.
Following a successful launch exclusively on the Meta Quest store, the Steam version now offers a traditional PC experience with enhanced VR support, including Steam Frame compatibility. It comes out on October 1st, 2026 at $6.99 USD, with a 10% discount at launch and a 20% discount of the game + soundtrack bundle.
