SEOUL — October 27, 2026 — XLGAMES today announced that ArcheAge Chronicles, its open-world action MMORPG developed and published by the studio, will launch in Steam Early Access on November 3 at 3:00 PM PST. Pre-orders are open on Steam now!
A Strong Showing at Steam Next Fest
ArcheAge Chronicles ran a playable demo during Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition, October 19 to 26. When the festival closed, the game ranked 5th on Steam’s official Most Played Demos list.
Players had plenty to say. They praised the Unreal Engine 5 visuals and a combat system built on the interplay of offense and defense, with parries and cancels at its core. The PvP drew positive reactions too. Many players saw real potential in the game and said they are looking forward to further improvements once Early Access begins.
Pre-Order Bonus: The Dawn Pioneer Set
Pre-order ArcheAge Chronicles and get the Dawn Pioneer Set, an exclusive costume set available only as a pre-order bonus. Each pre-order unlocks one set for a single class of the player’s choice. Claim it in-game once Early Access launches on November 3.
Early Access Plans and Pricing
On October 20, XLGAMES released a developer video laying out what is planned for Early Access: the scope of content, how player feedback will shape future updates, and the game’s pricing. The Early Access package is $29.99 USD in North America. Regional pricing varies in other markets.
“We’d like to thank everyone who played the demo during Steam Next Fest and took the time to share their feedback,” said Yongjin Ham, Executive Producer at XLGAMES. “We plan to continue incorporating your valuable feedback into regular updates throughout Early Access. Even beyond Early Access, we’re committed to staying connected with our players and continuing to improve the game together as we work toward its full potential,” he added.
