June 26, 2025 - Hooded Horse is excited to share that the best-selling, award-winning dark fantasy roguelite city-builder Against the Storm is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, thanks to game porting veterans QLOC. It’s even compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2!

A new wave of viceroys can experience this popular city builder and attempt to rebuild civilization in the face of apocalyptic rains. Lead humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, harpies, and more to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilization's last survivors. The UI has been completely overhauled for consoles, ensuring that newcomers have a smooth experience while fulfilling their duty to the Scorched Queen.

The Frog-tastic first expansion, Keepers of the Stone, is also available on consoles from today, which introduces a new species, two new biomes, and a selection of new buildings, orders, risks, and opportunities for any Viceroy up for the challenge. It is part of the console-specific Against the Storm – Complete Edition.

Against the Storm is localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Japanese.

Against the Storm is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch consoles, as well as PC via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. It is also available via Game Pass, and the RRP is $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 / ¥3,980. 

The Keepers of the Stone DLC is available on all platforms for $14.99 / £12.99 / €14.99 / ¥1,860. 

Against the Storm - Complete Edition is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥4,980.
