If you brought someone you loved back as an AI, and one day, for whatever reason, you had to let them go, could you bring yourself to switch them off?
Realize in Peace is a game about saying goodbye, for the second time, to a loved one revived by AI.
The story begins when the player logs in to a computer and is greeted by their late wife, now brought back to life inside the machine. The game behaves just like a real computer. Players can read the emails that arrive in the inbox and browse websites on the internet.
As the player uses the computer while talking with the revived wife, the cause of her death and what the player went through after losing her gradually come to light.
A Message from the Developers
This game is a remake of a project we presented as our university graduation work about five years ago. Since then, AI has become an even more familiar part of everyday life, and figuring out how to relate to it has only grown harder. That is exactly why we hope as many people as possible will play it now.
About the Developers
YOWPY
An indie game development team made up of two former university classmates. The team focuses mainly on sci-fi narrative games. The two develop concepts together and divide up programming, music, and other work between them.
