Press release

Winner of 2 BitSummit Awards and 3 NYX Game Awards, Dreams of Another is about to launch! Pre-orders are only available for one more week!

A new single from the soundtrack by director Baiyon is available from today!

Kyoto-based creative studio Q-Games’ latest PixelJunk title, Dreams of Another, has won three awards at the NYX Game Awards, including Best Visual Art, as well as two awards at BitSummit: the GameSpark Award and Best Visual Design.

The game is set to finally launch on October 10, 2025, with just one week left to pre-order.

In addition, a single from the official game soundtrack has been released today. The track, A Farewell Redrawn (From “Dreams of Another”), comes from the game’s director and multimedia artist Baiyon and is accompanied by his hand-drawn cover illustration.

It is extremely rare for a game director to also compose the soundtrack for a game they direct. It is likewise unusual for them to handle art, story and script on top of everything else. By doing this, in Dreams of Another Baiyon has created a truly integrated multimedia experience.

This track that has been released today was featured in the game’s announcement trailer, where its nostalgic piano melody and immersive soundscape resonated with many fans. Included with its release is a hand-drawn cover illustration by Baiyon himself.

This piece of music was composed with the image of “the sound of a piano practice piece softly drifting from an elementary school music room after class,” evoking the game’s ephemeral, dreamlike feel. It is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Both the Dreams of Another + PixelJunk Eden 2 Special Bundle and the standalone Dreams of Another are still available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store until October 10th, 1:00 AM (CEST)/ October 9th 4:00 PM (PDT). Special pre-order bonuses are also included, so don’t miss this opportunity! Make sure to secure your copy by wishlisting and adding it to your basket!

About Dreams of Another

Dreams of Another is the latest title by multimedia artist Baiyon, the director of PixelJunk Eden and PixelJunk Eden 2. The game is built around the philosophical theme of "No Creation Without Destruction." Rather than destroying objects by shooting, as in traditional shooting games, here, your shots materialize and create the world around you. This unconventional mechanic offers a gameplay experience that challenges the norms of the genre and invites players into a whole new dimension.
