London – 11 June – Infinite Whys, an independent game development studio, today announced that its co-op murder mystery game Whispers in the West would be released in July 2023. Whispers in the West is a point-and-click adventure game that allows players to work together to solve a series of murders in the Old West, in a classic Agatha Christie whodunnit style.
Since the release of the demo in June 2022, Whispers in the West has been favoured by creators like Yogscast, Stumpt and dozens of other influencers. Traditionally, point-and-click games are single-player experiences. Whispers in the West features a unique gameplay mechanic that allows up to 4 players to work together to solve the murders.
The game is set in the small town of Brimstone, where a series of mysterious murders have taken place. Players can share clues and information with each other and even debate amongst themselves - where was the mayor at the time of the incident? Why does the butcher stammer when you ask her about her seasoning? What’s that spooky sound in the mine?
Whispers In The West is an episodic party experience that invites players to immerse themselves in the goings-on of the small town of Brimstone one 60-minute mystery at a time. Each episode is a unique and intriguing mystery case waiting to be solved. The developer plans to introduce six cases in the initial release. That's at least six hours of intriguing mysteries guaranteed.

Whispers in the West will be available on Steam soon in July 2023. The base game will be available in five languages, English, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese, while the additional cases will be offered in English only at the beginning.
The game has also incorporated Twitch integration that allows the audience to vote in the game. This makes Whispers in the West a great game for streamers and viewers alike.
The developer will be inviting the press, creators and influencers to review the game prior to its release.
