Bordeaux, France - March 23rd. Shiro Games (Evoland, Northgard, Dune: Spice Wars) has revealed during today’s Future Games Show that Wartales will be fully released on Steam on April 12th.

Wartales is a medieval open-world turn-based RPG set in a harsh and unforgiving land. The Great Plague has ripped through the population only to fester for centuries in the souls of those who remain. Players must fight for food and funds to fuel an ever-expanding crew, scour forsaken villages, abandoned mines and more, all to uncover the scarred and complicated history of a battle-ravaged world.
With more than 400,000 copies sold and over 9,000 ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam (90%) during its Early Access, Wartales is already a genre classic that offers a massive open-world to explore, more than 100 hours of content and unique combat mechanics to master. Since December, players can also play cooperatively, allowing them to use their newfound allyship to share resources, manage their deadly band of hired blades and grow stronger as one.
Alongside the launch date, Shiro Games has also revealed Alazar, a new region that takes players to a unique mountainous environment featuring, a brand new storyline, new armours for three factions and fresh enemies to encounter. Early Access players will be also pleased to know that the studio has massively polished the game accordingly to their feedback, added content, modified balancing, diversified character customisation (facial hair, hair, faces) and included different backpack skins for each armour type.
Wartales is still available in Early Access on Windows PC via Steam for €34.99/£29.99/$34.99 with English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese language support.
