Sustainable Swedish publisher Kinda Brave, is delighted to announce that their indie studio Ember Trail announces a new game “Distant Bloom” – A botanical life-sim management game far away from home releasing in 2023. The studio is in the midst of development of this serene management game where the player explores an alien planet where things have gone amiss.  

Plot: 
After a long expedition through space, you and your crew land on an alien planet with the critical mission of establishing a new home for your species. Distant Bloom is an accessible and rewarding game that offers a warm, sheltered and intimate experience.

Explore a desolate world and restore its blooming past with the power of plants! 

Turn your harvest into recipes, tools and items that you can use to build and improve your homebase.

About Ember Trail
Ember Trail is made up of a group of developers with tons of experience from indie and AAA, putting player creativity at the forefront. The goal of the cofounders was to create a healthy work culture, centered around employee health and happiness. The team developed and released Main Assembly in January 2021, providing players with an inventive sandbox experience filled with plenty of challenges. The game was nominated for Best Debut and Best Technology at the 2021 Nordic Game Awards.
