WARTALES LAUNCHES TODAY

Bordeaux, France - April 12th. Shiro Games, the French video game developer behind Evoland, Northgard, and Dune: Spice Wars, has officially launched its medieval open-world tactical RPG, Wartales, on PC via Steam today. The game, which has already sold over 400,000 copies during its Early Access phase and received over 9,000 positive reviews on Steam, also enjoys a highly impressive 90% positive review score and is now available in version 1.0 with a temporary 25% discount to celebrate its release.

In Wartales, players are transported to a world ravaged by the Great Plague, where they must fight for survival, resources, and funds to expand their crew and uncover the complicated history of the battle-scarred land. With an expansive open-world, unique combat mechanics, and more than 100 hours of content, Wartales has become a genre classic and offers players a challenging and immersive experience.

Thanks to the feedback of the community during Early Access, Shiro Games has added new content, diversified character customization, and introduced cooperative gameplay since December, allowing players to work together to manage their deadly band of hired blades and grow stronger as a team. The latest addition to the game is the Alazar region, which introduces a new storyline, new armour sets for three factions, fresh enemies, and a unique mountainous environment.

Wartales is now available on Windows PC via Steam for €34.99/£29.99/$34.99 with English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese language support.
