SEOUL – Jan. 14, 2021 – A roster of beloved characters parades into hit gacha game Destiny Child today as part of a new update, allowing nostalgic and new players alike to meet Destiny Child’s Planet Party and explore an uncharted Narrative Dungeon, all available for free on both App Store and Google Play.
From now through server maintenance on Thursday, Jan. 28, courageous players can enter the new Narrative Dungeon “A Dog’s Purpose.” Within the dungeon, players can interact with the game’s superstar idol music group Planet Party and discover the story of the ensemble’s comeback. “A Dog’s Purpose” boasts valuable and collectible rewards such as new 5★ equipment and a 5★ Dazzling Neptune. Victorious players can also claim two all-new Childs, including Wood Type Supporter class 5★ Dazzling Venus and Water Type Defender class 5★ Sparkling Neptune.
In addition to the new Narrative Dungeon, players can also dive into two fresh events, including:
- Planet Party Limited-Time Missions – From now until the next server maintenance, players can collect glow sticks from each member of Planet Party to earn goodies such as 5★ Childs, Equipment Crafting Tools, and Ignition Core Materials
- “Nostalgia” Cover Song Challenge – Destiny Child fans can take to social media and share their best covers of Planet Party’s latest track for the chance to win a special Planet Party cheering towel.
Since its launch in late 2018, Destiny Child has mesmerized audiences with gorgeously-rendered Live2D playable characters, all ready to be collected, customized, and evolved. In this action-packed role-playing game (RPG), players must strategically select from several hundred-strong rosters of ‘Childs’ and engage in player vs. player (PvP), Raid, and World Boss combat to claim victory. All Childs boast unique powers and intriguing backstories, with beautiful cutscenes brought to life with legendary voice actors and actresses.
