The Pokémon Company International Invites Paris to Celebrate the Year of Mega Evolution with a Citywide Adventure

Get ready, Trainers! The Pokémon Company International is bringing together the two Cities of Lights in a weekend of discovery on the 13th and 14th of September, 2025 featuring a touch of Lumiose City, in Paris.

London, UK — 2nd September 2025 Today, the Pokémon Company International reveals further details on a free physical and digital immersive experience for the whole family in the heart of Paris on 13 and 14 September 2025, shining a light on the marvel of Mega Evolution.  

Located at Westfield, Forum Des Halles in Paris, France, and open each day from 10am – 8pm, trainers can look forward to a variety of exciting Mega-Evolution-themed activities across the weekend. For the very first time outside of Japan, fans can take part in a Stamp Rally within the Pokémon GO app. Throughout the weekend, families and friends can take in the scenic views through some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Jardin Nelson Mandela, Musée du Louvre and the Jardis des Champs-Élysées, collecting seven stamps along the way. Stamp locations at Jardin Nelson Mandela, Place du Louvre, Place Colette, Carrousel du Lovure and Jardins des Champs-Élysées will be supported with a Pokémon-themed chalet. Additional stamps to collect at Les Halles and Jardin des Tuileries can be discovered in the Pokémon GO app. That’s not all—there will be plenty of ways to celebrate Mega-Evolution at Westfield Forum Des Halles:

  • Lumiose City Tourism Hub: The Lumiose City Tourism Hub in Forum Des Halles at Westfield Châtelet is a one-of-a-kind immersive space and will be free to attend and will offer a friendly experience to learn about the power of Mega Evolution. In addition to learning resources that unveil this phenomenon, visitors will also be able to take part in a large host of activities to kickstart their Mega Evolution adventure and soon know Lumiose like a local!
  • Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 Edition playable demos: For the first time in Paris, Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 Edition will be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Trainers who visit the play area can experience two demos, in which they’ll take part in the Z-A Royale competition before putting their battling skills to the test against a rogue mega-evolved Pokémon. Have you got what it takes?
  • Win a trip to Japan: Ready to turn your Paris adventure into a Tokyo dream trip? Trainers who complete the Stamp Rally and share their adventure on social media using the hashtags #PokemonGOParis could win a grand prize: a trip for four to Japan! Wander through iconic landmarks, collect all 7 stamps in the app and evolve your Chamander all the way to a Mega-Evolved Charizard, then take part in a special social media competition for the chance to win.   •  Pokémon GO Battle Zone: Test your skills and take part in fun challenges in a park-inspired play space.
  • Postcards to Collect: Pick up Lumiose City postcards at the Tourism Hub and digitally in Pokémon GO. Add event stickers collectable from FNAC and Micromania for an extra special touch – and you guessed it, also available on Pokémon GO!
  • Get ready and prepped with Pokémon goodies: Pick up your event leaflet, Pikachu headband and Pokémon TCG fun pack at our event area for all you need to start your adventure!

And of course, no Pokémon event would be complete without the chance to meet-and-greet with Pikachu and Eevee! Daily scheduled appearances are at: 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 6pm but may be subject to change on our website. This September, Paris will become the ultimate playground for discovery, bonding, and Mega Evolution wonder. Whether you’re a longtime Trainer or just starting your Pokémon journey, there’s something for everyone.
