The Magical Quest of Molly the Marble Steam Beta Test: Weekend of August 21-23, 2026

Beta for The Magical Quest of Molly the Marble runs August 21-23, 2026 with focus on accessibility testing and compatibility across Windows, Linux and Steam Deck

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Dapper Duck Software will be conducting a beta test for The Magical Ques of Molly the Marble, a cozy adventure puzzle game, August 21-23, 2026. This beta will focus on accessibility testing and cross platform compatibility.

Players interested in joining can sign-up here: Beta Sign-Up. Selected participants will receive more information via email. Space is limited, but registrants who are not selected will receive information about future playtests.

In Molly the Marble, players tilt diorama-like environments to roll Molly through puzzles, secrets, and gentle adventures. Inspired by the feeling of building imaginary worlds out of cardboard boxes and craft supplies, the game blends physics-based puzzle solving with a cozy and accessible design philosophy. The game is designed for people who need an escape from the stresses of everyday life, as a way to help find relaxation and reconnect with childhood imagination.

Accessibility-first design is one of the game’s core design pillars. The beta will help the development team identify barriers and evaluate options intended to make the game more comfortable and approachable for a wide range of players. The studio especially welcomes feedback from players with visual or auditory sensitivities, limited fine-motor control, cognitive impairments, or other accessibility needs. Players who use adaptive or alternative controllers are highly encouraged to participate.

“Accessibility works best when it shapes the design process from the beginning,” said Joel Gerber, Studio Director for Dapper Duck Software. “We want this beta test to help us find barriers we may have missed and make Molly the Marble more comfortable and enjoyable for as many players as possible.”

The beta will also assess compatibility across Windows, Linux, and Steam Deck. Participants interested in motion controls can configure gyroscopic input through Steam Input.

Players can learn more about The Magical Quest of Molly the Marble and add the game to their Steam wishlist on the Molly the Marble Steam Page
