Seattle, Washington – October 29th, 2026 – Short-form viral indie game The Dark Queen of Mortholme will be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5 on December 3rd, 2026.
Originally released as an itch.io exclusive, this pixel-art action game from solo developer Mosu has been reimagined for modern platforms through a partnership with indie developer/publisher Monster Theater. Recognizing its potential, Monster Theater worked with Mosu to bring the game to console, adding platform optimizations, multiple languages, trophies/achievements, and bug fixes.
