Singapore, 2022/9/16 — Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announced today that the romance detective title, Tears of Themis, will be launching a brand-new event "A Wish in the Light" this September. Celebrate Vyn's birthday with him and make a wish in the warm light of affection. During the event, there will also be a limited-time rerun of the previous Vyn birthday event's SSR card, R card, and invitation. Players can participate in the birthday event to obtain exclusive gifts such as the birthday-limited outfit, birthday-limited background, event commemorative badge, R card, and other bountiful rewards!

The main story of Tears of Themis takes place in the fictitious city of Stellis, where players kick off their legal career as a rookie attorney, solving cases and issues by conducting investigations and debates. When the darkness hidden beneath finally unveils itself, a sinister force that threatens justice and order slowly begins to surface. The four male protagonists with distinct personalities, also known as the members of the NXX Investigation Team, provide continuous support and assistance throughout this journey. Relationships blossom with the establishment of mutual trust and close cooperation.
In Vyn's Birthday Special PV, a part of Vyn SSR "Fetters of the Past" story is unveiled: The assassination of Count Adell 12 years ago, the lonely figure of a youth in the side hall... These are all parts of his mysterious past; troubled memories hidden beneath a warm smile. In this story, players will gradually get Vyn to open up his heart. Vyn SSR "Fetters of the Past" will be obtainable in this limited-time event!
During this series of limited-time events, players can also participate in the Birthday event for Vyn - who is one of the four male leads and a NXX member - by preparing a sweet surprise and celebrate this meaningful occasion with him. After the birthday limited-time event "A Wish in the Light" begins, Attorneys can travel to the corresponding location for each Travel Wish on the Wish List by obtaining "Wishing Note" via completing Work levels. Birthday limited-time tasks will also be available. Participate in the limited-time events and complete limited-time tasks to receive rewards such as Vyn R card "Falling," Tears of Themis, and other rewards.
