Overview
Soccer Kids is a game about soccer, made by people who suck at playing soccer. It’s a tactical, turn-based sports game where you control a teenage mathematical savant, guiding his friends on a quest to win the local street soccer tournament.
Currently, the game is in development, but the creators have put out a free alpha version to gather feedback from the players.
The artificial intelligence in the game was implemented using the GRAIL AI module provided by Silver Bullet Labs and QED Software.
Current and planned features:
- Tight, grid-less tactical action. No match is ever the same!
- Play the campaign, against friends or the AI.
- A world seen through the eyes of kids who watched way too much cartoons.
- Use skills to turn the tables on your opponent at the last second!
- Train your teammates and buy them upgrades or power-ups in the local store.
