28 September 2025 - Indie developer 1TK Games (veterans formerly of Roll7, Google Play, Ubisoft, and more) have laid their tiles on the table to announce Turnbound: a turn-based auto-battler in which players master a grid-based equipment system to engineer devastating synergies. The team is supported by renowned Japanese publisher, Kakehashi Games to support their Japanese players!
Trapped within a haunted boardgame by a mysterious cat, players must outsmart their way to freedom by battling against other captive souls! Every tile placed within limited board-space is a strategic cause-and-effect loop that ripples through battles and rewards those with foresight and creativity.
Arranging weapons, relics, and trinkets unlocks devastating synergies and combos against loadouts left behind by other real players. The asynchronous combat gives players freedom to spend as long as they like fine-tuning their tactics, letting them master the growing roster of legendary champions at their own pace.
As an indie team from all over the world with lots of different backgrounds, 1TK Games sees Turnbound as a really ambitious title that can be endlessly expanded upon.
