London, UK, September 3rd – June 2025 saw the global launch for the hugely anticipated RTS, Broken Arrow, and July 2025 Slitherine reached 25 years of activity, but celebration don’t stop here With the TIGA Game Industry Awards on the horizon, Slitherine Software is sitting proudly as a nominee for three individual awards: Strategy, Publisher, and Commitment To Workplace Wellbeing.
As a veteran in the video game industry, and recently celebrating its 25th anniversary, Slitherine is no stranger. With a portfolio consisting of numerous notable IPs, such as Warhammer 40,000, Starship Troopers, Terminator: Dark Fate, Battlestar Galactica, and more, the commitment to delivering top-tier gaming experiences is a core factor for Slitherine.
From Slitherine and Steel Balalaika recently comes Broken Arrow, a modern military RTS set in the Baltic region during a modern era, depicting a fictional conflict between the United States and Russia. The game's campaign features 19 missions and a range of maps based on actual locations in the Baltic States, with a story focused on escalating global tensions and tactical challenges from both perspectives.
The TIGA Awards bring people together to celebrate all things creative, technical, and business excellence within the UK games sector. These awards brilliantly highlight the achievements of studios, publishers, educational institutions, and service providers across a wide range of services and categories.
This year’s shortlist continues the trend and showcases the extraordinary talent, innovation, and ambition of the UK games industry, with finalists spanning genres from Action and Adventure to Puzzle, VR/XR, Strategy, and more.
