This month, Nomad Games published a much-awaited update for the PlayStation 4 version of Talisman: Digital Edition. Originally released in February of 2017, this update brings the PlayStation 4 version of the game in line with the PC, mobile and Nintendo Switch versions of the game.
In 2019 Nomad Games communicated to PlayStation 4 players that the version running on the PlayStation 4 was built on an older, discontinued engine, and that updating the PlayStation version of the game would be a large undertaking for the small studio. In September of 2020, Nomad Games confirmed that they would be updating the PlayStation 4 version to bring it in line with all other platforms, as a free update to all players.
Alongside 4 years of quality-of-life improvements and bug-fixes, the PlayStation version also launches with a host of expansions, characters and content for players to purchase and add to their Talisman: Digital Edition collection on PlayStation. Players won’t have to re-purchase any content they’ve already bought on Playstation.
