Survive the Elements in Stack Island, a Card-Based Survival Game

Independent developer, Intersticks, is excited to announce the release of their first title, Stack Island. Grab a sharp rock, a creature fending stick, and set off on a quest to survive the harsh environments of Stack Island. Watch the announcement trailer below. Stack Island will release on Steam for PC and Mac on Friday, 16th June.

 
Stack Island is a challenging survival game with a cardboard twist. Roaming the harsh environment of the isolated island will see you uncover a variety of cards, each representing a resource, food, or crafting materials. By combining the cards you’ve discovered, you can craft the tools necessary to escape the island…well, that’s the hope!

Stack Island is designed to be a very challenging survival game. Managing your resource and choosing what cards to take on travels between locations is vital to your survival. While venturing across the island, you’ll need to manage your stamina (used to uncover new cards), Health (not every card is friendly), contamination levels (finding fresh food can be tricky), and overall condition, which determines your stamina regeneration.
