September 23, 2025 - Hooded Horse and Super Fantasy Games are excited to announce the release date for highly anticipated fantasy roguelite city-building game Super Fantasy Kingdom. Rebuild the realm and explore a vibrant fantasy world, all while fending off waves of attackers when the game enters early access on October 24, 2025 across Steam, GOG, the Epic Game Store, and the Microsoft Store. It will also release on PC Game Pass day one via game preview.
Players can choose to play as either the Undead or the Human Kingdoms, and both begin with their lands in ruin, a lone hero their only protector. A game of two halves, by day players will need to rebuild their kingdoms using the minimalistic city-building mechanics, which reward careful planning and strategic choices. By night, the player’s hero will defend the kingdom from waves of enemies that get harder with each passing day. They need not fight alone, however – brave warriors can be recruited either through random events, or via exploring the realm. Build roads that will link your stronghold up with the rest of the world, unlocking resources, meta-progression, and other units to recruit to defend the kingdom.
But fear not, should the city fall and the forces of darkness sweep across the land, the king will awaken back at the beginning, ready to start a new run. Rewards, exploration, and other permanent unlocks will remain, making those crucial early days that much easier, letting players push further into the unknown and defeat stronger and stronger waves as they seek to unravel the mystery at the heart of the game.
The game will be localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
Super Fantasy Kingdom will launch into early access for PC on October 24, 2025 via Steam, GOG, the Epic Game Store, and the Microsoft Store. It will also release on PC Game Pass day one via game preview.
