She Hunts is the debut game of the fresh Finnish Indie Studio, Murska
Digital. It will be running a public playtest on Steam from 23.10. to
30.10. Initially Murska Digital had planned running the playtest
concurrently with the Finnish Games Week, but got stuck being approved
by Valve. A ritual which many indie studios seem to go through with
their initial publishing on Steam.
She Hunts is an exploration focused narrative action-adventure game set
in a fairy tale forest. Battle corrupted creatures with your trusty
crossbow and lay clever traps for your foes. However every night a Beast
appears, turning the player from the hunter into the hunted.
The playtest is focusing on basic gameplay features, allowing players to
test basic combat systems, a variety of enemies in different stages of
development, as well as get their first look into the atmospheric world
of She Hunts. Feedback gained from the test will be used to sharpen the
game further, with longer and more developed game demoes being planned
for the future.
