The Root Studios, based in Fortaleza, is made up of four experienced developers: Rennan Costa (director and programmer), Richard Novak (pixel artist), Denis Espanhol (game designer), and Gabriel Raposo (game designer). Shard Squad is the studio’s first original game. The Root Studios is also known for having team members who previously worked on the game Bagdex, among other projects.
