Sedleo and Dear Villagers Unveil Merciless Chivalric Journey, 1348 Ex Voto

Begin a unique adventure through the turbulent landscape of 14th-century Italy

Montpellier, France - August 20, 2025. Newly established Italian studio Sedleo, in collaboration with French publisher Dear Villagers, has unveiled 1348 Ex Voto. Created by a team of seasoned indie developers, the game follows Aeta (voiced by Alby Baldwin), a young knight-errant, as she embarks on a journey across 14th-century Italy. After a brutal bandit raid on her village, Aeta sets out to find her closest companion, Bianca (Jennifer English). 
Slated for release in early 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles, 1348 Ex Voto will see Aeta encounter a series of trials on her path to knighthood. Along the way, she must face fanatical zealots, roaming bandits, and battle-hardened mercenaries - all against the backdrop of a virulent plague that threatens to tear apart an already fragile society.

Combat and exploration lie at the core of 1348 Ex Voto. Sedleo has carefully collaborated with industry experts to craft a combat system inspired by Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), all while recreating the beauty of a rural 14th-century Italy.
