Screen NSW is offering up to 10 NSW-based independent game developers the opportunity to level up at PAX Aus in Melbourne, one of Australia’s premier gaming events, through a new Market Support Program.
The PAX Market Support Program will provide a platform for 10 NSW indie developers to showcase their games in a fully-subsidised dedicated Screen NSW section in the PAX Rising area in the main expo hall from 10-12 October 2025, offering an exposure opportunity to players, media and industry professionals.
Increasing support for the digital games industry and developers in NSW was a commitment as part of the three-year NSW Screen & Digital Games Strategy.
The PAX Market Support Program is one of many initiatives Screen NSW offers to support NSW games practitioners travelling to local and international gaming events to gain experience and make new connections, including GCAP 2024 Travel Support Program, GDC 2025 Market Travel Program and Gamescom 2025 Market Travel Program. The programs complement the support offered for NSW developers including the Digital Games Seed Development Fund, and the Digital Games Rebate with its expenditure threshold lowered to $350,000.
Visit the Screen NSW website for more information, including guidelines, and to apply. Applications close on Thursday 13 June 2025 at 2:00pm AEST.
