October 9 2026, USA - Indie developer Animalsoft is excited to announce that Indoor Shrimp Farming Simulator, an offbeat incremental idle aquarium simulator, will launch its first-ever playable demo on Steam on October 9, ahead of its participation in Steam Next Fest: October 2026.
What starts as a seemingly innocent shrimp clicker quickly becomes something considerably stranger.
Players begin with a small aquarium, spawning shrimp, earning money and investing it back into an expanding collection of tanks, upgrades and increasingly colorful crustaceans. With more than 1,700 shrimp colors to discover, the numbers - and the shrimp population - can grow very quickly.

But the aquarium is only the beginning.
The newly revealed demo trailer shows players leaving the tank behind to skateboard through town, meet and talk to shrimp characters, complete unusual requests, sell their shrimp, explore different locations and stumble into the game's increasingly absurd world beyond the aquarium.
Launching on October 9, the demo will give players their first hands-on look at the strange mix of incremental progression, aquarium management and bizarre adventure at the heart of Indoor Shrimp Farming Simulator. The demo will also take part in Steam Next Fest from October 19-26.

Indoor Shrimp Farming Simulator is currently in development for PC and is scheduled to launch on Steam in 2026.
