Full reveal set for October 2025

(RGL), a leader in retro gaming hardware, and PLAION REPLAI, a global publisher and developer of classic video game software and consoles, will give fans and media their first-ever glimpse of the company’s next full-size retro machine at Gamescom 2025.
This exclusive teaser showcase will take place at RGL’s consumer booth from Wednesday 20th to Sunday 24th August. Alongside this mystery machine, RGL will also offer visitors tantalising sneak peeks at the future of their retro lineup, including upcoming software and new peripherals.
The new system will be displayed alongside an atmospheric teaser trailer designed to spark curiosity and conversation. No technical specifications, price, or release date will be revealed at Gamescom. Instead, the company is inviting attendees to share in the anticipation ahead of the full global reveal in October 2025.
“Gamescom is always a highlight for us, but this year is extra special as we can finally give our fans a taste of what’s next,” said Paul Andrews, Managing Director at RGL. “We want people to see it in person, feel that excitement build, and then join us in October when we’ll lift the curtain completely.”
The October reveal will deliver the complete story, from the system’s design and features to exclusive content that won’t be shown at Gamescom.
