RED BULL ANNOUNCES COMPETITIVE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS EVENT SERIES – RED BULL SOLO Q – IN THE U.S. AND CANADA PLUS NEW LIMITED-EDITION CANS IN CELEBRATION OF LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES PARTNERSHIP

Limited Edition Cans Include a Special Code Unlocking Leaderboard Access for
Red Bull Solo Q Event Series*
 
SANTA MONICA, CA – AUG. 5, 2020 – Red Bull North America, Inc., in partnership with the League of Legends Championship Series, announced that Red Bull Solo Q, the ultimate 1v1 experience for amateur League of Legends® (LoL) players, is officially coming to the United States and Canada with online qualifiers opening for all players in both countries, this month. To celebrate the U.S. and Canada launch, Red Bull released all-new Red Bull Solo Q Limited Edition cans, which feature LoL champions Conqueror Alistar and Yasuo. The new Red Bull Solo Q cans will be available at participating retailers nationwide for a limited time while supplies last.
 
Red Bull Solo Q allows fans to make their mark by bringing LoL players to new heights! In a world where LoL is traditionally played in a 5v5 team setting, Red Bull Solo Q will settle the score and showcase individual skill with a 1v1 gameplay format. Amateurs face-off in the top lane of Summoner’s Rift and can claim victory by drawing ‘First Blood’ against opponents, destroying the opposing player’s outer turret or achieving a 100-minion creep score first.

Thousands of players will battle it out in multiple online 1v1 qualifiers kicking off later this summer to secure a spot in the respective U.S. and Canada Finals. Players can go from hometown hero to champion, receiving glory, prizes, and the coveted Red Bull Solo Q trophy.
 
Each Red Bull Solo Q Limited Edition can includes a special code on the tab that, starting August 31, 2020, unlocks leaderboard access for Solo Q, a unique Summoner Icon (limit one Icon per person) and other perks*. Details on how to register the code for leaderboard access will be shared soon. The new Red Bull Solo Q can is available in both 8.4 fl oz, 12 fl oz and 8.4 fl oz multipacks.
